Job Description

Maintenance Technician or Mechanic - Food Packaging Full Time The Maintenance Technician is responsible for equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting production operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Install, start up, and shut down equipment following safety and OSHA requirements Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs Support logistics tasks including receiving goods, preparing materials for production, and loading bulk product for shipment Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and food safety policies Follow strict GMP and support the company's Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety, GMP) Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (trade/vocational training preferred) 2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment Experience in food or beverage manufacturing Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools Knowledge of electrical components including VFDs, motor starters, temperature sensors Experience with industrial electrical systems up to 480 VAC Controls & instrumentation experience PLC hardware/software familiarity Pneumatic and hydraulic system experience Understanding of BRC/HACCP, environmental, and sustainability standards
Abilities:
Lift up to 50 lbs; Work in hot and cold environments (38°F-80°F); Stand, sit, and perform repetitive motions for 8-12 hours What we offer:
