Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and assembly of food products in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities Assemble and prepare food items according to established recipes and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, for accurate order processing. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all food products prepared. Support bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining environment for guests. Skills Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items confidently. Experience in food service settings, including quick service & fast food restaurants or grocery stores. Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions and retail math calculations. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards within the food industry. Previous experience in cashiering, serving, or kitchen roles is preferred but not required.
