The company specializes in paneer, ghee, yogurt, and a variety of dairy-based foods. The facility operates under CFIA, FDA, and EU standards and maintains SQF Level 3 certification to ensure the highest level of food safety and quality. Job Overview The Food Processing Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting dairy processing equipment. This role focuses on automation systems, instrumentation, and maintaining product quality while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor dairy processing equipment using HMI systems Adjust process parameters and troubleshoot equipment issues Calibrate and verify instrumentation including temperature, flow, valves, and sensors Monitor production processes and product quality, making adjustments as required Ensure safety systems and interlocks are functioning properly Maintain accurate production, calibration, and maintenance logs Follow GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards Maintain a clean and safe production environment Support production operations as needed Qualifications Experience working with HMI systems and automated control interfaces Understanding of instrumentation and process automation Technical diploma in industrial automation, food processing, or related field preferred 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment HTST license or willingness to obtain one Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable working in hot and cold production environments Benefits Medical benefits available after 90 days with 80 percent employer contribution Dental coverage available (employee paid) 401(k) plan with company match up to 3 percent Two weeks of paid vacation annually Work Environment Fast-paced dairy production facility Exposure to varying temperatures Team-oriented and safety-focused workplace
