At The Plant People, a technician is responsible for caring for, maintaining, and replacing live plants indoors and outdoors. Tasks include watering, pruning, cleaning, pest management, and plant replacement to ensure the plant remains healthy and appealing in commercial and community spaces. Technicians must be prepared to work in any weather conditions. They may plant seasonal plants year-round, such as winter boughs. In warmer months, their responsibilities may include watering outdoor pots and garden beds, performing minor landscaping tasks, and weeding. The job requires lifting heavy objects for extended periods, bending, standing for extended periods, walking long distances, climbing ladders, quick thinking, efficiency, and a passion for customer service and quality. Technicians must also have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving larger vehicles in all weather. We are looking for a candidate who is ready for a career here. Responsibilities:

Water and maintain plants in commercial settings and the store Install plants and containers on new and existing commercial accounts Maintain customer relationships at each account and resolve any issues promptly Communicate and work effectively and efficiently with team members Complete tasks and assignments given to them

Qualifications:

Comfortable driving large vehicles in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50 pounds, walk long distances, and work on one's feet all day Ability to perform work on ladders as needed Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A desire to have a green thumb! Ability to safely drive from account to account
