Job Description
Company Overview Southwest Event Rental is Arizona's premier luxury event rental company, specializing in providing high-quality furniture and equipment for corporate and social events. We value teamwork, reliability, and exceptional service. Position Overview We are seeking an part time and seasonal driver to deliver, assemble, and set up furniture and equipment at event venues. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong focus on client satisfaction, and a commitment to upholding our company's reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities Safely load, transport, and unload furniture and equipment to event locations. Including using a spotter when backing up truck Assemble, arrange, and dismantle furniture on-site as per client specifications. Using covers on furniture as required to maintain quality Conduct quality checks on all items to ensure they meet company standards. Perform basic maintenance or repairs on furniture and equipment as needed. Collaborate with the warehouse and event teams to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any issues or changes. Conduct yourself professionally at all times while on-site at events by Wearing the designated company shirt Keeping your supply pack prepared and with you at all times Maintaining polished and professional communication when interacting at event venues and with clients. Move with purpose and efficiency while carrying out tasks, ensuring timely delivery, setup, and breakdown of event furniture and equipment without compromising quality or safety Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. (preferred but not required). Experience in warehouse, delivery, or event setup (preferred but not required). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Work Environment and Schedule Work is primarily on-site at event locations, in warehouses, and occasionally in trucks. Early mornings, late evenings, and weekend shifts are common. This position is seasonal and is from April to June Compensation and Benefits Starting at $19.00 / hour based on experience.
