m. We are a used furniture business dealing with 95% dressers. We are seeking a reliable, punctual individual who is able to perform basic maintenance on dressers (adjust drawers, rails, nail in back boards, replace hardware, etc.) Someone who can problem solve and is familiar with basic furniture repair is a plus. Not all pieces need adjustments. This person will also be responsible for other duties; see below.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on dressers, nightstands, and other furniture
• Clean, organize, and take photos of each piece of furniture with cell phone
• Load furniture on and off roller dolly
• Assist our delivery driver with unloading his vehicle
• Interact with customers, accept payment, and assist them with loading furniture into vehicles

Requirements:

• Proficient in using hand tools / power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and speak to customers in a professional manner
• Comfortable with speaking to customers, negotiating, and taking payment
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as needed
