Brisbane, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Career development plan Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Computer operation Packing Computer literacy Manufacturing facility Driver's License Driving Manufacturing Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Receiving Supplies & Materials Receive, open, count, label, and photograph all incoming packages according to Purchase Orders (POs) Upload receiving photos to Microsoft Teams under the appropriate PO shipping channel Safely handle cabinet fabrication materials (plywood, solid stock, laminated panels, etc.) using forklifts Store materials in designated racks or tables within the fabrication shop Prevent damage by avoiding scratches and keeping materials clear of walkways and work areas Millwork & Product Packaging / Deliveries Packaging Inspect all millwork and cabinets prior to packaging Use appropriate non-abrasive protection materials (Guardian film, bubble wrap, cardboard, blankets) Secure items using hot-sealed plastic strapping, tape, and/or shrink wrap Label all packed items with part and/or cabinet numbers Deliveries Ensure all deliveries and pick-ups are approved in advance Schedule deliveries in the Outlook calendar and prepare orders ahead of time Document deliveries with photos taken before packing, after packing, and after jobsite drop-off Shop Organization Organize, index, and maintain inventory of consumable shop supplies (screws, hinges, slides, glue, sandpaper, etc.) Maintain PO-specific hardware and components in designated areas Create, maintain, and adjust workstations to ensure an organized shop environment Coordinate movement of millwork and cabinets between Fabrication, Staging/QA, Finishing, and Packaging/Delivery Waste Management & Housekeeping Dispose of scrap wood, sawdust bags, and general waste in designated bins or trailers Empty and replace trash bags daily in restrooms and break rooms Ensure finishing department waste is processed in accordance with San Mateo County paint waste regulations Tools, Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance Tool & Equipment Support Assist with organization, inspection, and inventory of manufacturing and hand tools Clean and lubricate industrial machinery, including: CNC machines Edge banders Planers and jointers Dust collection systems Table saws and miter saws Air compressors Vehicle Fleet Support Perform routine checks of vehicle fluids (engine oil, power steering, brakes, coolant) Maintain basic vehicle cleanliness Security & Safety Ensure building exterior doors and company vehicles are locked at the close of business Identify and eliminate fire, trip, and chemical hazards Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Production Support (As Needed) Fabrication / Manufacturing CNC cabinet part routing support Light sanding of cabinet edges Edge-banding and edge cleanup Staging & QA Assist with staging setups Support project hardware organization Finishing & Touch-Up Assist with cabinet preparation and sanding Organize finishing materials and supplies Installation & Punch List Assist with jobsite protection and light demolition Support millwork and cabinet deliveries to jobsites Qualifications & Requirements 2-4 years of experience in an organized operations, shop, or production support role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Quality-driven mindset Valid California Driver's License with acceptable driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Basic computer skills (email, calendar, Teams preferred) Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to learn and teach new techniques when needed About J Style at Home Inc.
