About Us:
Slate Staging & Design is a Bay Area-based home staging and design company partnering with real estate agents and homeowners to prepare homes for market. We focus on thoughtful design, strategic staging, and delivering a high level of service. Clear communication, teamwork, and strong client relationships are at the core of everything we do.
Position Overview:
We are hiring a Seasonal Assistant Stager to support our team during our busiest season. This is a great opportunity for someone with staging experience who is passionate about interior design and enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced work environment. You'll be involved in installations, warehouse operations, and daily staging logistics, with the opportunity to grow into a long-term or full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
Pull, move, organize, and return furniture and décor in the warehouse Assist with furniture and accessory selection and staging prep Support on-site staging installations (placing décor, hanging artwork, coordinating with movers) Maintain warehouse organization and help keep inventory accurate Conduct site visits (measurements, photos, videos) Assemble furniture as needed Drive to pick up items and travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area (45-90 miles) Assist with staging removals (packing, minor wall touch-ups, reporting damages) Run staging-related errands (key pickup, accessory sourcing, change-outs) Capture photo/video content for social media (Instagram experience a plus) Assist with inventory systems (Stageforce and Notion experience is a plus)
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Interest in interior design and current furniture trends Reliable, positive, and team-oriented Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle Willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area Flexible availability Social media experience (especially Instagram) preferred Inventory management experience is a plus
