Furniture Maker / Carpenter Furniture Maker / Carpenter Valley Drapery and Upholstery is a family owned business specializing in custom window treatments, drapery, and upholstery. We are currently looking for an experienced furniture maker or carpenter to help us craft custom furniture frames and pieces. If you are not a furniture maker by trade, please do not apply for this position. This is not a entry level position! The employee furniture maker will have the ability to read drawings/ blue prints and fabricate furniture parts to spec unassisted. Candidate must implement and be familiar with 5s methodology in the work place for optimal organization / safety and production requirements. The ideal candidate will have the skill and ability to fabricate furniture from raw stock lumber and carve detailed designs in wood! Candidate must be self motivated and prepared to work in a high paced manufacturing environment. Must posses a high level of awareness in safety while operating machinery. Must adapt and adhere to company culture, rules and regulations. The potential candidate will take responsibility for projects from start to finish insuring quality and completion dates are met regularly.

Design Custom Furniture Pieces. Build furniture frames Make or restore custom upholstered furniture

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and insurable Must be able to speak English Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds

Schedule:

7:30am to 4:30pm , Monday - Friday, plus overtime
