Experienced Paint Protection Film Installer / PPF Technician

ESM Motors is hiring an experienced Paint Protection Film Installer to join our growing team in San Francisco. We specialize in high-end paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coating, detailing, and automotive protection services for luxury and performance vehicles. Our shop works with brands including Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, and other premium vehicles. This position is for an installer with real PPF experience . We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean, precise work and understands the level of detail required when working on high-end vehicles. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, efficient, and able to complete quality installs without constant supervision. Responsibilities Install paint protection film on full fronts, full vehicles, and individual panels Perform clean prep, alignment, stretching, trimming, wrapping, and finishing Work with plotted and/or bulk film installations Inspect work for quality, edges, contamination, lift lines, and proper finish Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate clearly with the team regarding job progress, issues, and timelines Follow ESM Motors' quality standards and installation process Handle luxury and performance vehicles with extreme care Requirements Previous PPF installation experience required Ability to install full fronts and/or full vehicle PPF Experience with bulk installs preferred Experience with XPEL or similar high-quality PPF brands preferred Strong attention to detail Clean edges and professional finishing ability Reliable transportation Strong work ethic and willingness to be part of a growing team Must be comfortable working on high-end vehicles Preferred Qualifications Experience with XPEL DAP or other pattern software Experience with ceramic coating, window tint, vinyl wrap, or detailing Ability to work efficiently in a production-focused shop Experience working on Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, or similar vehicles Compensation Pay is competitive and based on experience, skill level, and production ability. We are looking for someone who can produce high-quality work consistently. Compensation structure may include hourly pay, production-based pay, commission, or a combination depending on experience.
