  • Full-time Join our team at Rhino Adventure Gear, a leading overlanding and off-road vehicle upfitter, where adventure meets craftsmanship!
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Tech. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflow, on-time completion of vehicle upfitting projects, as well as great communication and customer service. We are only accepting full-time candidates for this position. Please read through the Position Requirements below and only apply if you meet ALL of the requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Completion of custom electrical and mechanical installations for vehicle upfitting. Assembly and installation of various systems for overlanding builds. Maintain a clean and organized shop workspace. Dispose of packaging materials and waste properly. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers.
Position Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years in an technical automotive role or comparable work experience in a dynamic work environment. Van builder or off road shop experience is great. A minimum of 3 years' experience with 12 Volt automotive systems. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in a shop setting. Clean driving record Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform builds with a high quality of aesthetic end-product. Humility and positive attitude. Reading comprehension and ability to read, understand, and follow product literature and manuals. Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from others. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask. Passion for off-roading, overlanding, or vehicle customization. Please list relevant work experience in your resume or cover letter.
