Vehicle Wrap Installer 760 Garage Victorville, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $40 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Customer communication Equipment safety procedures Outdoor work Customer service Driver's License Attention to detail Vinyl Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Wrap Technician (UTV's) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wrapping vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards. These skillsets are preferred, but we are open to training and developing candidates who show devotion and eagerness to learn. Key Job Duties Install vinyl wraps, decals, lettering, and graphics on UTV's, cars, trucks, trailers, vans, and fleet vehicles. Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, measuring, masking, and removing contaminants Remove old wraps, decals, and adhesive residue without damaging surfaces Use heat guns, squeegees, knives, and specialized wrap tools during installation Align and position graphics accurately according to design specifications Trim and finish edges cleanly for professional appearance and durability Inspect completed work for bubbles, wrinkles, lifting edges, or defects Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with printing, laminating, weeding, and panel preparation when needed Follow company safety procedures and proper handling of materials/tools Communicate with team members and customers regarding project timelines and expectations Load/unload vehicles and materials as required Requirements & QualificationsRequired Experience installing vinyl wraps and graphics (typically 1-3+ years preferred) Knowledge of vinyl application techniques for flat and complex curved surfaces Ability to use wrap installation tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Experience with commercial fleet wraps and color change wraps Familiarity with materials from brands like 3M and Avery Dennison Certification in vinyl wrap installation Experience operating printers, laminators, or plotters Basic knowledge of graphic layout and measurements Skills Precision and hand-eye coordination Time management Problem-solving Mechanical aptitude Communication skills Quality control awareness Work Environment Indoor shop environment with occasional outdoor installations Exposure to heat guns, chemicals, and shop equipment May require overtime or weekend work depending on project deadlines
