Job Description

The Launch Manager helps build, create, and install our neighborhood work clubs. About Switchyards Inc. Switchyards is the world's first neighborhood work club. For more information and a list of all club locations, visit switchyards.com. Description What You'll Do We are looking for someone to help build, create, and install our neighborhood work clubs. Our ideal candidate thrives in the "gray," and loves solving problems. The position is part of our larger Launch Team, tasked with opening and updating clubs across the country. The Launch Manager will work cross-functionally across our Launch and Club Design teams.
Please note:
This position will be in the field 60-75% of the time. You will often be on location in new cities, preparing clubs for opening, placing our furniture, and installing pieces you've helped build. A solutions-based thinker A high output executor at heart to meet deadlines A tinkerer and builder Hyper-organized and detail-oriented Tenacious and flexible Enjoys travel Takes pride in bringing a space together Responsibilities Executing the project scope and staying on schedule as outlined by the Launch Lead Assisting Club Designer with developing and executing project-specific site installations and specifications Organization and management of supplies, materials, and equipment Professional level installation of furniture, fixtures, and other pieces in the space Moving and placing furniture and overall assistance with launching a new Neighborhood Work Club and/or refreshing an existing Switchyards Requirements You have 2-4 years of experience in building or assisting in furniture fabrication You can provide examples of your past projects & builds You are deeply familiar with tools and material uses and applications Bonus Skills Experience with SketchUp software suite Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical systems Basic welding and furniture fabrication skills Ability to read as-built drawings Perks & Benefits A salary and benefits package that includes health insurance, stock options, and more.
