Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for handling inbound calls from drivers, assisting in resolving driver inquiries, and updating open events. Work with repair facilities to get repairs made in a timely manner. Prepare purchase orders and inform necessary parties of any delays or problems with repairs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Monitors the breakdown active call report Processes all breakdown and service requests Issue purchase orders to vendors as needed Verify invoice matches approved repairs Receive parts invoices in TMT daily Input in detail vendor invoices in TMT daily Assigns appropriate/nearest vendor to handle repairs Creates/Updates TMT road call log Verify monthly statements for payment Ensure road call follow-up, repair status and completion dates are current Informs necessary parties of any delays or problems with repairs Communicates daily with DM's/planners regarding overdue PM services and other maintenance concerns Informs driver managers of OTR repair status Plans services accordingly with TFL shop locations Requests invoice copy from dealer/repair facility at time of completion Prepares purchase orders as required. Verify monthly statements for payment Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
General knowledge of the trucking industry and commercial motor vehicles Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft word, excel, etc. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Must be a self-starter and have a positive, "can-do" attitude Embraces teamwork and appreciates problem-solving in group environment
