Commercial Office Furniture Installer

Commercial Furniture Installer - MAC Relocations MAC Relocations is seeking experienced Commercial Furniture Installers to join our growing team in the Chicagoland area. This position involves the delivery, assembly, installation, relocation, and decommissioning of commercial office furniture systems including workstations, casegoods, seating, conference rooms, demountable walls, shelving, and related products. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with prior experience in commercial furniture installation who are comfortable working both independently and as part of a crew in fast-paced commercial environments. Responsibilities Install, disassemble, and reconfigure commercial office furniture systems Read floorplans, installation drawings, and project instructions Load/unload trucks and safely move furniture and materials onsite Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently Work alongside field supervisors, project coordinators, and installation crews to complete projects on schedule Maintain clean and professional job sites Complete daily paperwork, work orders, and time tracking accurately Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and onsite personnel Qualifications Preferred 1+ years of experience in commercial furniture installation Experience with systems furniture manufacturers such as Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, Teknion, Knoll, HON, etc. preferred Ability to lift and move furniture/materials regularly Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to read basic floorplans and installation drawings preferred Strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail Valid driver's license preferred Reliable transportation required Must be dependable and punctual Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing throughout the workday Ability to lift 70-100 lbs with assistance as needed Ability to work in commercial office, warehouse, and construction environments Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities PTO and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) program Opportunity for advancement within a growing organization MAC Relocations is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free workplace.
