Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Office Furniture Installer and play a vital role in transforming workspaces into functional, stylish environments. You will work closely with clients and project managers to ensure timely, efficient setup of furniture systems that meet high standards of quality and safety. Duties Carefully unpack, assemble, and install a variety of office furniture pieces including desks, chairs, cubicles, storage units, and conference room setups. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to secure furniture components according to specifications. Conduct thorough inspections during installation to ensure stability, alignment, and safety standards are met. Collaborate with project teams to coordinate installation schedules and adapt plans as needed for space constraints or client requests. Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to furniture fitment or structural adjustments promptly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations to promote safety and efficiency. Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical components when necessary, ensuring all installations comply with electrical safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in furniture assembly or installation preferred; strong mechanical aptitude required. Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or assembly instructions clearly. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment essential for efficient installation work. Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus; specifically experience using ohmmeters for testing circuits or components. Excellent physical stamina to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly and work in various positions throughout the day. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients professionally.
