Auto Shop Helper

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auto Shop Helper/Porter, where you'll play a vital role in supporting vehicle maintenance and repair. Picking up and delivering vehicles along with light on sight repairs. Duties Assist technicians with vehicle repairs. Perform heavy lifting and move vehicles or parts safely around the shop to facilitate repairs. Use hand tools and power tools under supervision to support various repair tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sweeping, cleaning parts, and disposing of waste properly. Help with inventory management by organizing parts, tools, and supplies needed for daily operations. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Pick up and deliver vehicles Clean customer vehicles Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and auto service equipment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various shop tasks. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills. Prior experience in auto body repair or mechanic work is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
