REQUIRED THE OPPORTUNITY
Aspire Home is a rapidly growing, tenacious and sophisticated brand on a mission to become Maine's premier destination for furniture and home décor. We are looking for a Managing Director to lead our Kennebunk showroom. This is not a "desk job." This is a role for a high-energy closer who understands design aesthetics, team leadership, and the relentless pursuit of excellence .
THE EARNING POTENTIAL
Base Salary:
$80,000 (Higher for candidates with deep furniture management experience). plus a $10,000 salary boost for 50% year-over-year growth). 10% override on all extended warranties and 3% yearly retail store profit sharing.
Store-Wide Override:
10% commission on ALL extended warranties sold across the store.
Manufacturer Bonuses:
Direct cash spiffs on bedding and luxury appliances ($50
Employee Referall Bonus :
Bringing in quality candidates with experience
Growth Path:
As we expand to multiple locations, this role is the gateway to regional leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Sales:
Lead by example on the floor. Close high-ticket furniture packages and ensure all quotes are sent the same day.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Hold staff accountable to close rates and professional standards.
Operational Mastery:
Manage a $2M+ P&L, oversee freight/stocking, and maintain a showroom that is "Instagram-ready," clean, and safe.
Scrappy Problem Solving:
Handle everything from customer escalations to basic on-site IT troubleshooting. We move fast and fix things as we go.

This is a 6-day-a-week leadership role designed for someone with a "Founder's Mentality."
Peak Hours:
Full availability for weekends and holidays is required, as these are our highest-volume sales days.
The Reward:
We reward dedication. Your presence on the floor directly impacts your store-wide overrides and manufacturer bonuses, putting you on the path to a $140k+ income.
QUALIFICATIONS

FURNITURE/DESIGN BACKGROUND
At least 3 years of management experience in a furniture or design-focused environment.
LEADERSHIP
3+ years managing a team of 3 or more.
SALES PROWESS
Proven track record of closing high-ticket deals.
PHYSICAL GRIT
Must be able to lift 50 lbs (100 lbs team lift) to assist with floor moves.
AGE:
Must be 25+ years old for operational/insurance requirements.
