This role involves operating various machines and tools to create high-quality wood furniture pieces while adhering to stringent quality and safety standards. We are looking for a team member who can also help with other production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC router, Rip Saw, Manual Glue up Rack, Planer/Sander Machine. Along with other wood working equipment. To fabricate wood parts for high-end tabletops and desk furniture. Utilize laser engraver for precise detailing on furniture pieces. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Clean and maintain machinery, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and operates safely and continuously.

Daily activities:

• Cut strips of board for table tops, glue, and clamp strips together.
• Plane table tops to meet precise specifications.
• Build high-quality furniture, adhering to stringent quality standards.
• Prepare parts for assembly and painting, sanding parts as needed.
• Assist with assembly of parts and furniture, as needed
• Maintain tools, report issues, and request supplies when necessary.
• Keep the order board updated and complete.
• Assist with packaging furniture for shipment, as needed.

Qualifications:

Some experience and knowledge with CNC machines, saws and other machines used to cut and plane wood boards, preferred. Knowledge and experience in woodworking, furniture assembly, and finishing, strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality standards is required. Ability to maintain tools and machines effectively is required. Ability to work in a team environment and assist with various tasks in the production process is required.
