This is furniture delivery — the kind that involves carrying, maneuvering, delivering, and setting up large, heavy furniture inside customers' homes . If you want a driving-only job with light boxes and a scanner, this isn't it. If you like physical work, take pride in doing a job right, and don't mind earning your paycheck with some sweat, keep reading. What You'll Actually Be Doing As a Furniture Delivery Driver, you'll work with a partner to: Inspect, load, and secure furniture for daily delivery routes Deliver heavy furniture, mattresses, and accessories to customers' homes Carry, maneuver, and set up furniture safely inside homes Navigate stairs, tight corners, hallways, and doorways without damaging merchandise or customers' homes Represent Slumberland professionally with every delivery Complete daily pre-trip inspections and help keep the truck clean, organized, and road-ready Lead by example and help train newer delivery team members Let's Talk About the Physical Part This is a physically demanding job . You will be lifting and maneuvering heavy furniture every day with a partner. You should apply if you can: Repeatedly lift, carry, push, and position heavy furniture throughout the day Handle large, awkward items safely in customers' homes Bend, squat, climb stairs, and stay active for a full shift Work hard, move with urgency, and still treat customers and their homes with care If you're looking for a driving-only role or something low-physical-demand, this is probably not the right fit.
