ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The primary duties of the employee are (but not limited to) the following: Must be able to design or assist in the design of dies, fixtures, machines, machine repairs, die building and die repairs. Assist in quoting, build time and materials costs. Must be capable of working with extremely close tolerances. Have knowledge of CAD/CAM, wire EDM and CNC machines. Capable of training other employees. Understand designs, develops, manufactures of dies, jigs, fixtures, machines and be capable of operating production equipment. Performs all aspects of machine and die building, working from blueprints, engineering sketches, piece parts, or verbal instructions. Performs all duties assigned with a minimum of supervision. Operates a variety of related precision metal working machinery and equipment, height gauges, sine plates, etc. Assist in try-out of all tools, making sure it produces acceptable parts. Must understand how to utilize CAD/CAM, wire

lathe, and other machines to reduce cost. Must have knowledge of how to quote or assist in quoting tooling cost. Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
