Position Summary The Installer is responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and removal of retail signage, fixtures, graphics, and related components inside retail environments. Installers travel to job sites, work alongside Crew Leads and other team members, and are expected to complete projects safely, professionally, and within company timelines and quality standards. This position requires frequent travel, overnight stays, physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Essential Job Duties Install retail signage, graphics, displays, fixtures, and related materials according to company and client specifications Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and measuring devices safely and correctly Read and follow project instructions, layouts, measurements, and installation plans Load, unload, organize, and transport tools and materials Maintain clean and professional job sites Communicate effectively with Crew Leads, Project Managers, and team members Complete assigned work within scheduled timelines Follow all company safety policies and client store rules Report damaged materials, installation issues, or safety concerns immediately Travel regularly for overnight and multi-day assignments Physical Requirements The Installer position is physically demanding and requires the employee to routinely perform the following: Stand and walk for extended periods of time Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and twist Work on ladders, rolling ladders, scissor lifts, and elevated platforms Perform repetitive hand and arm movements Use hand tools and power tools for extended periods Work overnight shifts and extended shifts as project demands require Load and unload company vehicles, rental vehicles, and trailers Work in varying indoor temperatures and store environments Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals in accordance with applicable laws. Mental & Cognitive Requirements Employees in this position must be able to: Maintain focus and attention to detail in fast-paced environments Follow verbal and written instructions accurately Read measurements and perform basic math calculations Adapt to changing schedules, project demands, and travel requirements Work under time-sensitive deadlines Maintain professional communication with team members, clients, and store personnel Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in the field Remain calm and professional under pressure Understand and follow safety procedures consistently Travel Requirements Frequent overnight travel is required Employees may travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and surrounding states as needed Employees may be required to share transportation and hotel accommodations according to company travel policies Valid driver's license preferred Employees assigned as drivers must maintain an acceptable driving record Work Environment Installers primarily work inside active retail environments, including but not limited to: Grocery stores Retail stores Vision Centers Commercial spaces Work may occur during overnight hours while stores remain operational. Employees are expected to maintain professional conduct around customers, store associates, and client representatives at all times. Minimum Qualifications Ability to travel regularly Ability to perform physical labor safely Reliable transportation to designated meeting points when required Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends Basic carpentry or construction experience preferred but not required Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Ability to pass company onboarding requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous retail installation experience Carpentry, construction, fixture installation, or signage experience Experience operating scissor lifts or similar equipment Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history Equal Employment Statement Retail Installation Services is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
