  • Full-time Responsible for duties relating to effective and safe delivery of merchandise to store locations and customer sites within assigned job responsibility.
Unload, stock, and load supplies/furniture for delivery. Assemble furniture, perform general maintenance and janitorial work. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities
RECEIVING
Safely unload supplies/furniture and stock, as necessary, in warehouse area.
DELIVERY
Properly load merchandise on trucks/vans. Deliver, as assigned, to specific store/customer locations. Perform rural and in-town deliveries as scheduled.
ASSEMBLY
As necessary, assemble furniture for customers and for the sales floor.
IN STORE SUPPORT
Assist with carry-outs and checking in and stocking of heavy merchandise. Help sales personnel load supplies/equipment as needed.
MAINTENANCE
As instructed, assist with routine car and building maintenance, installation of large furniture shipments, and janitorial duties.
DOCUMENTATION
Prepare documentation relating to delivery promptly and accurately.
OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED
Qualifications High School Education or Equivalent Desirable 6 Months Delivery/Warehouse Experience Preferred Other Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills Good Customer Relation Skills Accuracy Skills Good Mechanical Aptitude Valid Driver's License and Good Driving Record Must be Able to Pass DOT Physical Ability to Drive Vans/Straight Trucks and Manual Transmission Ability to Lift 70 Pounds Repeatedly During the Day Ability to Lift Heavier Objects with Cart and/or Assistance Ability to Load/Unload Merchandise onto Vans/Trucks Ability to Assemble and Install Furniture in
