Job Description
Parc is a custom furniture design and fabrication studio specializing in bespoke furniture, upholstery, and millwork for residential, hospitality, and workplace interiors. We are exploring the expansion of an in-house fabrication shop in Connecticut and are interested in connecting with experienced furniture makers, cabinetmakers, and woodworkers for future opportunities. Our work includes custom furniture, casegoods, seating, tables, banquettes, architectural millwork, and one-of-a-kind pieces produced for interior designers, architects, restaurants, hotels, offices, and private residences. Ideal Experience Furniture making and fine woodworking Cabinetmaking and architectural millwork Ability to read shop drawings and specifications Experience with veneers, hardwoods, plywood, and sheet goods Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and solve problems in a shop environment Preferred Skills Furniture construction and joinery Veneering and laminating CNC experience Prototype development Installation experience Experience managing projects from fabrication through completion We Are Interested In Speaking With Furniture makers Cabinetmakers Lead makers and shop foremen Independent woodworkers with their own shop Freelance and subcontract woodworking professionals Please include: Resume or work history Photos of recent projects (required) Portfolio or website (if available) Whether you are interested in full-time employment, freelance work, subcontract opportunities, or all of the above Compensation Competitive and based on experience.
