Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Furniture Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and restoration, with the ability to work with various materials and finishes. This role involves preparing, finishing, and restoring furniture pieces to meet high-quality standards. The Furniture Finisher will collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying stains or paints. Apply finishes such as varnishes, lacquers, or oils to enhance the appearance of furniture. Repair and restore damaged furniture using appropriate techniques and materials. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the finishing process. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Skills Experience with various hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in furniture finishing. Ability to use various paint spray systems to apply CV, lacquers and stains. Capability of performing heavy lifting as required during the finishing process. Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
