  • 24 per hour (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Weekend Availability Required Furniture Wholesale Plus is a locally owned furniture and mattress retailer serving the Nashville area for over 15 years.
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Furniture Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a key position within our company that supports multiple departments including sales, customer service, financing, delivery operations, warehouse coordination, and daily office administration. The ideal candidate will have prior furniture industry experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Responsibilities Assist sales staff with customer orders and support needs Create and process customer invoices accurately Coordinate financing applications and approvals Schedule and route furniture deliveries Communicate with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and service issues Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations Maintain accurate records and customer information Assist ownership and management with daily operational tasks Help customers in the showroom during busy periods Monitor special orders, inventory issues, and customer follow-up Support overall office operations and administrative functions
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 2 years of furniture industry experience Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent customer service skills Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Weekend availability
Preferred:
Experience with furniture retail software or point-of-sale systems Experience coordinating furniture deliveries and logistics Financing experience (Synchrony, Snap, Acima, Progressive Leasing, etc.) Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency Inventory management experience What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their work, learns quickly, stays organized under pressure, and enjoys helping both customers and coworkers.
