ABOUT MASSOUD FURNITURE
Massoud Furniture has been a leader in the wholesale upholstery business for 60 years. More than just a factory, Massoud prides itself on treating its employees like family. Known for its assortment of fabrics, leathers and trims, they carefully curate mashups of old and new, traditional and contemporary. The furniture is built to last, using old school techniques when it makes the product better, and new technology when it maximizes the value delivered. Duties & Responsibilities Massoud Furniture is seeking a dependable, adaptable, self-starting individual to join our Production team. The ideal candidate must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and abilities to generate layout drawings of furniture components utilizing the Gerber Accumark software. Additionally, the individual must possess exceptional attention to detail to meticulously create digital patterns though digitizing process for automated fabric cutting machines. The individual should also be tech-savvy and an excellent team player, collaborating with product development and other various production departments. In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to perform any other duties assigned by the company. These duties may be related to other production functions or other areas of the organization, depending on the needs of the business. The candidate must be willing to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the company's goals. Qualifications CAD fundamentals Furniture knowledge required Knowledge of fabric layout and specifications Intermediate Excel skills. Microsoft office (Outlook, word, PDF) Detail oriented Process oriented Self-motivated Degree or Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD Furniture industry a plus.
