$20.00 - $27.00 per hour Job description: About Us CoronadoDC is a trusted, veteran-owned provider of turnkey furniture services—including design, delivery, installation, moving, and project management—for offices, government agencies, and institutions nationwide. We collaborate with top furniture manufacturers to deliver flawless installations and outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Receive, stage, assemble, and install systems furniture (cubicles, panels, casegoods, seating, integrated power modules). Read and interpret manufacturer guidelines, blueprints, and space plans. Ensure precise alignment, leveling, and finishing for a polished look. Safely handle and use tools, material handling equipment, and electrical components. Maintain installation quality, documentation (work orders, photos, timesheets), and work site cleanliness. Collaborate with team leads, supervisors, and client representatives. Drive company vehicles to and from project sites. Travel to other locations as needed, including overnight stays for out-of-town projects. Having prior experiance working with the VA office is a plus Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Certified installer for at least one of the following major systems furniture manufacturers: Herman Miller Steelcase Haworth Knoll Allsteel Teknion Technical skill with hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment. Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to operate company vehicles. Willingness to travel to various job sites within and outside the local region . Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs on a regular basis; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs with assistance. Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching during installation tasks. Comfortable working at heights of up to 12 feet using ladders or lifts. Ability to work in various environments, including active construction sites, occupied office spaces, and warehouse settings. Capable of repetitive hand and arm movements for assembly and installation. Tolerance for extended periods of standing and physical activity. Why Join Us?
