JOB LOCATION

2715 N. St. Mary's Street San Antonio, TX 78212 ROLE

DESCRIPTION

This role is a full-time, on-site position. We work Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. Compensation will be based on experience with a hourly wage of $18.00 to $20.00/hour. This role provides opportunities for growth, development, and advancement while teaching relevant skills that you will carry for a lifetime.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembly & Installation:

Assemble, install, and align commercial office furniture (workstations, cubicles, case goods) or residential furniture according to layout specifications.

Logistics & Site Prep:

Load and unload trucks, move furniture using dollies, and prepare the job site by clearing debris & trash.

Technical Skills:

Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and installation manuals.

Tool Usage:

Operate hand-held power tools and small tools safely.

Quality Control & Safety:

Inspect furniture for damage, ensure stability, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Customer Interaction:

Provide professional, customer-focused service on-site.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift, transport, and assemble heavy furniture.

Experience:

Experience with commercial office furniture, modular systems, or cabinetry is often required.

Tools:

Familiarity with tools

• specifically Power Tols.

Education:

High school diploma or GED certificate.

Licensing:

Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.

Skills:

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

Successfully pass a background check Successfully pass a drug test Some experience preferred, but not required Must be able to professionally communicate with customers and team members Enjoy working in a team environment Be able to work independently Be able to work within budgeted project timelines Must take pride in delivering and performing quality workmanship Must be able to distinguish between color, shade & brightness Must be able to stand for long periods, repeat movements and use their hands to handle objects, tools or controls Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 110lbs or less Must be able to stair-carry objects Artistic abilities/qualities (including, but not limited to a sharp eye for color and good hand/eye-coordination) Detail oriented Basic knowledge of power and hand tools Must have a valid driver's license with minimum 2 years of driving experience Must be able to move up to 110 pounds with assistance, by lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, and crouching is required. For safety reasons, respirators, are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face. Be exposed to various inside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating. Problem solving skills Flexibility to work overtime and travel to out-of-town job sites.
