HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Entry Level & Experienced

Overview Looking for self-driven and dependable help to join our team, and grow with our company. This position is for a production worker in our sheet metal fabrication shop to assist in the production of duct-work, and other HVAC related items, for our many jobsites around the valley. Prior-experience in this or a related field is preferred, but training is provided. Our typical schedule is 6:30am - 4:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch. Subject to minor change as needed. This position is located at our main shop and distribution center in Murray, Utah. Pay Range, Benefits, and Perks Entry level positions are starting at $17.50+/hr with higher rates available depending on experience, including a review after your first 90 days for higher consideration. We offer a lot of room for potential growth and advancement, and there will be many upcoming opportunities in the near future to move up to as we grow the company. PTO accrual begins upon hiring for up to 1wk/year for the first 3 years, and 2wk/year afterwards. Five paid holidays a year after your first year. Eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance match after your initial 90 days. Opportunities for supplemental pay exist through overtime, raises, and performance bonuses. Duties and Responsibilities Include (Not Limited to) Assist with the production of ductwork for our active jobsites, as well as orders for other customers Operate shop machinery and tools to fabricate ductwork, and other items Sort, pack, and ship finished orders Operate our forklift to load, unload, and organize raw metal & materials around the shop (Training provided) Occasionally assist our warehouse team when needed Assist with shop inventory tracking and management Requirements/Qualifications 6:30am - 4:00pm Mon-Fri, 40+ hour work week with occasional mandatory overtime. Extra optional overtime available Prior sheet metal fabrication experience, and a good understanding of HVAC systems, is preferred Ability to do basic mathematics (Mostly measurements for cutting etc.) Must be able to occasionally work a Saturday when required Must be trustworthy, punctual, and dependable Good attention to detail Ability to work outside when required (Shop is indoors however) Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to reliably commute to work •Must be able to pass a background check•Please attach a current copy of your resume to your application, or feel free to apply in-person Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
