Learn more at www.cfd-research.com CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Deburr Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in the manufacture of high fidelity aerospace grade machine components. This position is a new role that will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians and will encompass polishing and deburring parts to help support technology development programs designed and prototyped at our new Hollywood, Alabama Engineering Test Center, located a short distance from our Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. Reading machine setup sheets, tool lists, and other related documents. This role requires strong communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Position requires a High School Diploma and 4 years minimum experience in a Deburr/Polishing environment Experience with common tools and equipment used in manufacturing Proficient in working with a variety of materials, including plastics, aluminum, steel, stainless steels, and nickel alloys

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with AS9100 process Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Experience with ERP systems (Cetec) Experience with aerospace hardware Experience working with machinists to improve processes
