Lead Deburr Operator

General Summary:

Deburring of precision machined hardware for the aerospace industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duty is to deburr, the removal of burrs and/or sharp edges that occur during manufacturing process and operate in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Read and interpret blueprint. Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion per supervisor direction. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports supervisor or manager.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembly :

the attachment of two or more components to meet the drawing & specification requirements .

Marking :

the arrangement of letter and number characters to identify parts by dot peen, electro etch, press stamping & etc. Parts must be in accordance with drawing and supervisor requirements. Employee will operate and inspect all hardware with a supervisor's approval

Job Specifications:

Using of a variety of machines & hand tools to assist in the different area, assigned. It is also the deburr operators' responsibility via their supervisor to provide quality hardware with on-time delivery.

Working Conditions:

Employee will generally sit/stand at a machine in the Production Department.
