Full Job Description Shift:
Monday
  • Friday 6:30 am
  • 3:00 pm Pay rate: $20
  • $23 depending on experience Large parts / small quantities
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Machine (Deburring) Operator is responsible to remove burrs and finished surfaces, either manually or with machinery. Wash and deburr parts between operations; count, wrap, pack and document parts to meet product requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Remove burrs, grinds and finishes surface either by hand or with machinery, machine stem in accordance with flow specification in order to meet Engineering and QC requirements. Use gauges, flow testing units, blueprints, product specifications and parts, and communicates with lead/manager in order to maintain quality. Inform lead and/or manager when job is completed, and counts parts so that they can be transported to the shelves or shipping. Perform mechanical and non-mechanical tasks and/or change of workstations to handle temporary assignments. Check parts to determine the parts meet blueprint specifications and process requirements. Recognize quality of work and product and determine proper method of operation. Use Cal/OSHA safety standards and machine shop practices, blueprints, containers, boxes, cranes and hand tools in order to deburr and clean parts so that schedule jobs can be performed. Use sand, brooms, water, soap and mop to clean up machine and tools area surrounding machine in order to maintain a neat and safe working environment on a daily basis.
