We are actively expanding our capabilities, investing in new equipment, and positioning ourselves for continued growth across demanding markets. We are currently looking for a Deburr Operator in Cypress, CA. Our Deburr Operators are integral to our operation, supporting production by finishing parts using hand tools, deburring tools, abrasives, and other equipment while following job instructions, blueprints, inspection requirements, and applicable quality procedures. Additional Responsibilities Deburr, clean, finish, and prepare machined parts in accordance with job instructions, customer requirements, blueprints, and quality standards. Remove sharp edges, burrs, excess material, and surface imperfections using appropriate hand tools, files, scrapers, grinders, sanders, abrasive pads, and other deburring equipment. Read and interpret basic blueprints, job travelers, work instructions, and part-specific requirements to determine appropriate deburring and finishing needs. Inspect parts visually and with basic measuring tools to verify workmanship, edge break, surface finish, and part condition. Identify and communicate nonconforming parts, surface damage, or quality concerns to the supervisor, machinist, or Quality Assurance team. Maintain care when handling precision-machined parts to avoid damage, scratches, dents, contamination, or mishandling. Track work performed, production status, labor time, scrap, and notes in the appropriate system, Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, quality standards, and AS9100 requirements in daily activities. React productively to changing priorities and support other production needs as required. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
SHIFT:
This role is a afternoon/night shift opportunity working 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
PAY:
Depending on experience and up to $26/hr. Basic Qualifications At least 3 years of experience within manufacturing as a Deburr operator or other machine operation role such Skills Ability to use basic hand tools and deburring equipment safely and effectively. Ability to read and follow job travelers, work instructions, and basic blueprint requirements. Ability to use basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection aids preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify surface defects, burrs, sharp edges, and quality concerns. Ability to work carefully with small, detailed, or precision parts. Basic computer skills preferred; experience with ProShop or another ERP system is a plus. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
