Saw Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with measurement tools, saw operation, and the ability to read and understand work orders and specifications. The role involves setting up machines, managing the flow of coolant, and ensuring the proper loading of materials. Responsibilities Use measurement tools accurately. Understand and implement saw concepts, practices, and procedures. Read and comprehend work orders, tolerances, and specifications. Set up machines, blades, stops, or feeding devices, and ensure proper coolant flow against the cutting area. Properly load materials onto saws using forklifts or other moving equipment. Change blades on saws as needed. Clean saws at the end of each shift. Adhere to personal and facility safety procedures and practices. Essential Skills Ability to read and understand work orders and cutting instructions, both written and on computer programs. Knowledge of saws, blades, guards, feeding devices, and coolant flow. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Irwindale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
