Deburring Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Deburring Technician with experience in using various hand tools and machinery for deburring. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment. Responsibilities Remove sharp edges on precision machined metal parts. Sand and Scotch bright using orbital sanders and die grinders. Wash and clean parts. Conduct visual inspections for scratches, dings, and defects. Communicate with supervisors regarding priorities and cosmetic issues. Maintain a thorough understanding of metalworking tools and be able to read and understand part drawings, focusing on surface finish requirements and edge breaks. Essential Skills Experience in production and using hand tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting. Proficiency in deburring, grinding, and sanding. Additional Skills & Qualifications Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of metalworking tools, both mechanical and manual. Ability to read and interpret part drawings with a focus on surface finish requirements. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing machine shop setting that can be loud, focusing on designing, engineering, and manufacturing critical fluid delivery subsystems for semiconductor capital equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.73 - $28.00/hr.
