Job Accountabilities:
Operation of presses assigned by the production schedule or Molding Foreman Loading and unloading of material and product from the tool Understand and follow the router instructions and sign off Maintain production rates and efficiencies consistent with the company goals and requirements Visual In-process inspection to verify product and sign off Maintain proper part identification and traceability Suggest process and manufacturing improvements when and if insufficiencies exist on Opportunity For Improvements (OFI) Forms Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook or directed by the Molding Foreman Conduct monthly expired material audit. (If identified) Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Specifications:
Education :
High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Years Experience:
2-4+ years working as an operator in a molded manufacturing oriented environment
Skills:
Attention to detail Working knowledge of different presses, safety equipment and applicable tools Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred but not required Able to lift 70 lbs
Training Requirements:
On the job training will be conducted on Procedures and Work Instructions from the area of responsibility. Yearly refresher training on FOD, Calibration, Documentation control and Safety Topics.
