Deburring Technician

Our client, a premier precision manufacturing organization specializing in close-tolerance prototype and high-volume production, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Deburr Technician to join their production team. This role is responsible for the critical final finishing processes of high-precision machined parts used in demanding industries such as medical, aerospace, and telecommunications. Working with materials like stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and specialized plastics, the successful candidate will use a variety of hand tools, motorized equipment, and magnification devices to ensure all components meet strict cosmetic and dimensional standards.

salary:

$20 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4

No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Precision Deburring:

Safely and accurately remove burrs and sharp edges from complex, intricate machined components using hand tools (scrapers, files, picks) and power equipment (rotary tools, tumblers, media blasters, and polishing wheels).

Microscopic Inspection:

Utilize microscopes, loupes, and magnifying lamps to inspect and deburr exceptionally small, close-tolerance parts without altering critical dimensions or damaging the finish.

Quality Assurance:

Visually inspect finished parts for scratches, tool marks, or other imperfections to ensure they conform perfectly to technical blueprints and internal quality standards.

Documentation:

Accurately log production data, complete work orders, and sign off on routing sheets to maintain strict part traceability.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform basic daily maintenance and cleaning of finishing tools, tumbling equipment, and the immediate workstation to maintain an organized, 5S-compliant environment.

Safety Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all facility safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
