PM Pay Rate:

$20hr•21/hour Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Forging Press Operator / Heat Treat to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating forging presses, managing furnace processes, and ensuring parts meet strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate a 3000-ton forging press Load and monitor furnace operations for heat treat processes Operate straightening press and other production equipment Move materials using cranes, carts, and forklifts Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Inspect parts using calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring tools Perform basic heat treat processes (quenching, tempering, normalizing, etc.) Ensure parts meet quality and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Required Qualifications Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR requirement) 1-2 years of manufacturing or forging experience preferred (not required) Ability to read blueprints and communicate in English Experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.) Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed Ability to obtain forklift certification (if not already certified)
