In this vital role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to ensure they meet precise quality standards and specifications. Your expertise in machining, tooling, and quality control will help us deliver top-tier products to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship are prioritized. Responsibilities Use hand tools, grinders, and polishing equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate finishing. Maintain proper use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify component dimensions. Collaborate with machinists and quality control teams to identify areas requiring deburring or finishing adjustments. Follow safety protocols when handling tooling, hand tools, and fabrication equipment like press brake machines and stamping presses. Assist with materials handling, packaging, and assembly line tasks to support overall production flow. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of mechanical principles, blueprint reading, and the use of hand tools for fabrication or assembly is essential. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for quality assurance purposes. Understanding of quality control standards related to precision machining and fabrication processes.
