- 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Crimson Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to support upstream oil and gas operations in Colorado.
This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience in automation and electrical systems.

7 days on / 7 days off (Thursday through Wednesday), 6:00 AM

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, configure, and maintain PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, analyzers, and process control equipment. Support operations by responding to equipment failures and minimizing downtime. Maintain and calibrate instrumentation, measurement equipment, and control systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, and loop diagrams. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and client standards. Collaborate with operations personnel, engineers, and supervisors to improve system reliability and performance. Required Qualifications Automation Experience Candidates must have demonstrated experience with: Maintenance Troubleshooting Repair Configuration of automation and control systems. Installation-only experience does not qualify for this position. Technical Requirements Hands-on experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC systems is required. Experience supporting midstream oil and gas operations is required. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation. Experience with process control instrumentation, measurement devices, and communications systems. Strong understanding of safe work practices and lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to work independently in remote field environments. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Electrician certification. Experience with SCADA systems, RTUs, and industrial communications networks. Experience supporting compressor stations, gas processing facilities, pipeline infrastructure, or terminal operations. Familiarity with measurement systems and custody transfer equipment. Experience with control valve maintenance and repair.
