Job Description

Motor Grader Operator - Experienced ( Must be proficient in cutting subgrade and finishing base material ) The Kearney Companies is a Site & Utilities Contractor based in Riverview, FL. Locally owned and operated for over 69 years, we offer competitive pay, strong benefits, and long-term growth opportunities. Our projects include site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, and public infrastructure work throughout the Tampa Bay area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Motor Grader Operator to support our team in the Brandon/Riverview area.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate grader to spread and level dirt or road base to grade specifications in construction and maintenance of roads. Shape and finish shoulders and slopes. May perform fine or rough grading. Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions. Monitor operations to ensure that safety standards are met. Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions for job completion as requested. Supervision of crew personnel
Job Requirements:
Must have 2 or more years of Motor Grader Operator experience Must demonstrate the ability to operate the motor grader Must demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policy and safety standards Effective communication with other operators, Foreman, and truck drivers Must have reliable transportation and can work Monday through Saturday Must be willing to drive yourself to the different jobsites within a 50-mile radius of our office or more.
