Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Motor Grader Operator to join our team for construction site development projects in the Sarasota area. This role involves precise finish grading and working as part of a crew to prepare sites for building and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Operate a motor grader for site development and roadwork Perform fine/finish grading to specifications and site plans Read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and project plans Work with GPS machine control systems (such as Trimble) when required Ensure proper slope, drainage, and surface accuracy Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow all safety guidelines and job site protocols Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a motor grader Strong experience with finish grading is required Familiarity with GPS grading systems (e.g., Trimble) is a plus Ability to read and understand construction plans and grade stakes Reliable transportation and ability to work full-time hours Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work TDK6000
Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
