Uniparts Olsen is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Grind Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Eldridge, Iowa. This is a hands-on machining role that requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Our grinding department produces some of the most precise components in our facility. Successful operators understand the importance of accuracy, consistency, and process control. This is not a button-pushing position. Operators are expected to understand the grinding process, calculate grinding passes, and make adjustments necessary to produce quality parts. What You'll Do Operate grinding equipment to produce precision machined components Set up and adjust machines to meet production and quality requirements Calculate rough grind passes and monitor dimensions throughout the process Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment including micrometers and calipers Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues Complete routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping activities Work with team members to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity Follow all safety and quality procedures Preferred Experience Centerless grinding Plunge grinding Surface grinding Twin Grip machines Reading blueprints and technical drawings Working to tight tolerances Using micrometers and calipers Manufacturing or machining experience in a precision environment Why Join Uniparts Olsen? $19.00
