DEBURRER
Kress is looking for a full time Deburrer to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. The Deburrer is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, weld spatter, and surface imperfections from fabricated metal components used in heavy equipment manufacturing. This position ensures parts meet quality standards and are properly prepared for welding, assembly, painting, or shipment. Responsibilities
  • Remove burrs, slag, weld spatter, and sharp edges from metal components using hand and power tools Grind, sand, and smooth fabricated parts according to engineering drawings and quality specifications Inspect parts for defects and report non-conforming materials to supervisors Operate grinders, sanders, deburring tools, and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist other production departments as needed Meet production schedules and quality requirements Maintain Kress Corporation safety standards at all times Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent required Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred Ability to read basic shop drawings and work instructions Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality Physical Requirements• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures Kress Benefits• Group Health Insurance including Prescriptions Dental Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays
