Precision Grinder

CNC Grinder Operator sets up and operates precision grinding equipment for tight-tolerance components in a job shop environment. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Ability to work 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Monday through Friday or 10:00 PM-6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday Ability to train on 1st shift from 6:00 AM-2:00 PM for the first 3-6 months Minimum 1 year of experience with precision grinders Experience working with tight tolerances Knowledge of GD&T Ability to read blueprints Ability to adjust feed rates and rotation speeds Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Skills Experience setting up CNC grinders Experience performing OD, ID, boring, and facing operations Experience in a job shop environment Experience machining, installing, or recutting jaws Experience verifying parts with gauges and measuring devices Experience working within a multi-machine cell Job Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate CNC grinders Perform grinding operations including OD, ID, boring, and facing on precision components Support job shop production with run sizes of 50-100 pieces and setup times of 2-8 hours Machine, install, and recut jaws as required Verify parts using gauges and measuring devices Work within a production cell operating multiple machines

Pay:
