Competitive; based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Surface Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC surface grinding machines to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC surface grinding machines Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job travelers Select and dress grinding wheels appropriate for materials and tolerances Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements Make machine offsets and adjustments as needed Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized Follow all safety policies and procedures Qualifications 2+ years of CNC surface grinding experience preferred Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T Experience working with precision tolerances Knowledge of various metals and grinding techniques Basic math and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills Programming experience (a plus, but not required) Experience with quality inspection documentation Benefits Competitive wages Medical, dental, vision, life and short term disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays
