Die Setter

We are owned by American Kenda Rubber, which is located in Reynoldsburg, OH. We are seeking an experienced Die Setter for our 1st Shift. Applicants must be eager to learn new skills, interested in contributing to a team-oriented environment, be attentive to detail and be consistently productive and efficient. The starting hourly pay rate will be based upon experience, with a range of $24-$28. This position is a full-time non-exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours a week.

Education/Experience Required:

3-5+ years of metal stamping die setting experience Motivated team player, self-starter and willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

Machine set-up, which includes installing, aligning and removing the stamping dies from the press, utilizing both hand tools and lift truck. Adjust machine settings-ram stroke, feed length, transfer system-to match part prints Run samples and perform quality audits, utilizing calipers, micrometers and indicators to verify that parts conform to the part print Inspect equipment, perform minor repairs, perform changeovers, clean/maintain machinery and dies Safely removing dies and tooling, as well as performing all aspects of the position while adhering to safety procedures and emergency-stop procedures Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). #hc246989
