Centerless Grinder Setup Operator Are you the person who can keep roundness, finish, and tolerance exactly where they belong—on target? Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring for our 2nd shift. Your impact Set up and run centerless grinding machines while actively observing the grind and validating measurements. Tune work guides and grinding blades to achieve consistent, round components for downstream finishing. Straighten material by hand or via hydraulic press to prep for accurate grinding. Adjust machine parameters to hold tight tolerances and deliver specified part finishes. Change out regulating or grinding wheels as needed to maintain performance. Dress both the regulating and grinding wheels per work instructions. Identify malfunctions quickly, troubleshoot root causes, and correct using control adjustments. Do you have this background? At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with micrometers, comparators, and gauges. Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills. Prior grinding experience is a definite plus.
