Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Saw/Press Brake Operator and Material Handler to join our team. This role involves both new custom builds and repairs of existing equipment. The ideal candidate is a hard worker who can work independently or as part of a team, maintains high standards for quality and safety, and consistently meets production schedules. Employees will work on a variety of projects each week (non-production line work).Hours

  • 5:00 PM
  • Saturday:
    7:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM (optional)Pay Rate
  • $17.00
  • $24.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
  • Temporary to full-time position

  • Basic hand tools (tape measure, square, screwdrivers, wrenches, clamps, hammers, etc.)Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure down to 32nds and understand metric measurements
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, prints, and diagrams
  • Experience with:
  • Vertical and horizontal saws
  • Shears and presses (Plasma cutter experience is a plus)
  • Fork truck operation
  • Ironworks punch press
  • Ability to identify various steel and metal materials
  • Strong organizational skills
  • arrange materials by size and type for easy access
  • Review material lists, pull materials, cut, bend, and form as needed
  • Properly tag materials for the next stage of production
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe, efficient working condition
  • Safely lift up to 50 lbs
